1. Dr. T. M. Hynniewta Biodiversity Gold Medal: Instituted by Dr. T. M. Hynniewta, retired Deputy Director, Botanical Survey of India in the year 2009. The award is meant for the lifetime achievements by the senior taxonomists.
Pleione is a refereed international journal publishes on 30th June and 31st December every year. Pleione is intended to publish works on the vascular plants of the Himalayan region.
